Beyond Basic Needs

AHAYFS facilities are safe places for all individuals, where they can live without judgement. We take a strength based approach that recognizes success is determined by the individual.

Stronger Together

AHAYFS is a leader in the community, offering support and services in Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and Surrey. We work closely with community partners like Pacific Community Resources Society, the RCMP and the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

Live Independently

For AHAYFS, success is about helping each individual achieve their goals, build healthy relationships and adopt lasting attitudes as they transition to independence.

AHAYFS recognizes that our landscape of life has changed drastically due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Do your part by washing your hands, wearing a mask, and keeping a safe physical distance.

AHAYFS Outreach Program

AHAYFS’s Outreach Program will serve guests already receiving services within the South Fraser region. The program focus is to assist young people requiring assistance, who face multiple barriers in the community. Meeting the outside of the resources allows AHAYFS to better meet the immediate needs of the next generation.

What We Do

Founded in 2016 by Jane and Evelyn, AHAYFS is a service care provider that delivers safe, judgement-free housing and support to some of the most high risk and vulnerable young people in the Lower Mainland.
Today our trained staff provide 24 hour outreach services our individualized care plans, life skills programs and access to medical support and continued education. Our 6 care facilities maintain a high ratio of staff to young people and individuals, with capacity to add more staff as necessary.
By encouraging young people in our care to engage in their own well-being, we nurture a sense of belonging in their families and communities.
